Ballet for Beginners – Improve Your Dance!

This class focuses on step-by-step Ballet technique and conditioning exercises to improve posture, balance, strength, lines, extension and more! A gentle, yet intense workout that will improve your stage presence, fluidity and overall grace!  All levels welcome. Barefoot or ballet slippers. 55 minutes

Belly Dance Level 1 – Fundamentals

This introductory class is designed to teach the fundamental isolations found in Belly Dance. Learn the proper execution and technique behind movements such as circles, figure eights, pops and locks, shimmies and hip work with step-by-step instruction in a studio filled with energy, love and positive reinforcement! Basic veil and finger cymbal technique will also be explored. 55 minutes

Belly Dance Level 2 – Layers & Traveling

This class will teach students to layer and travel with movements learned in Level 1. Students will experience musicality, basic footwork combinations and more complex isolation, finger cymbal and veil technique. Coin belt and veil required. 55 minutes

Belly Dance Level 3– Footwork, Turns & Combos

This class introduces more complex footwork and combinations found in Belly Dance. Students will learn to incorporate foot patterns, turns and transitions into their dancing. More advanced use of finger cymbal and veil technique will also be explored. 55 minutes

Belly Dance Level 4 – History, Culture, & Rhythms

This specialty class will introduce students to the rich history, culture and musical understandings of Belly Dance. Students will learn to identify regional Middle Eastern dance styles, recognize Middle Eastern rhythms, and experience various props and their significance. Cultural understandings will also be discussed. 55 minutes

This specialty class will introduce students to the rich history, culture and musical understandings of Belly Dance. This mixed level class is designed to introduce, drill, and perfect isolations, footwork and fun combinations that are sure to “tune up” your Belly Dance technique! 55 minutes

Classical Indian Dance

This enriching class is designed for the serious dancer vested in Indian culture and dance. Classes will introduce the basics of Bharatanatyam; one of India’s oldest classical dance forms. Learn intricate foot patterns, mudras and facial expressions that are signature to this art form. Class taugh barefoot. All levels welcome. 55 minutes
